Competition Details

Events:

2x2, 3x3, 4x4, 5x5, Pyraminx, Skewb, Square-1, Clock, 3x3 Blindfolded, 3x3 Multi-Blind

Scrambling:

Before each solve, the competition staff provides a random scramble sequence to ensure fairness.

Inspection Time:

Competitors are given a specific amount of time (15 seconds) to inspect the scrambled puzzle before starting their solve. Taking longer than 15 seconds will result in a penalty of +2 seconds, moreover if it exceeds 17 seconds, your solve will result in a DNF.

Solving Rounds:

Competitors participate in multiple rounds for each event, and their best times are considered for ranking.

Timing:

Timing is done using a stack mat timer. The timer starts when the competitor picks up the puzzle and stops when the solve is completed.

Disqualification:

Solves may be disqualified for rule violations, such as improper scrambles, incorrect puzzle orientations, or incomplete solves.

Average and Single:

Competitors aim for both an average time (average of 5) and a single best time in each round.

Advancement:

The top competitors from each round advance to subsequent rounds until a winner is determined.

Awards:

Winners and top performers are recognized and awarded based on their times and rankings in each event.
