Competition Details

1. All performances are live, which means that pre-recorded videos are prohibited.

2. Music should be appropriate and clean, with no profanity/vulgar lyrics.  

3. Participants are given time to prepare the dances from the day of the technical meeting until the day of the competition. 

4. All dances are done onsite and in front of the present judges and audience. 

5. Each group’s dance duration is between 3 (three) minutes and 5 (five) minutes. 

6. A group is not allowed to consist of members from different schools. 

7. Each team must have 5 - 10 members.

8. Each group has the right to receive personal feedback and comments from the present judges. 

9. Plagiarism is not tolerated and results in immediate disqualification. 

10. Participants submit MP3 audio that will be used during the performance to a Google Drive link that will be shared in the group chat by Thursday, 13 February at the latest. Participants should name their MP3 audio in the format MD/2025_FullName_School/ name. 

11. Participants may use a background video that will be played behind them when they perform. If they wish to do so, they must make a folder in the Google Drive that consists of their MP3 audio and MP4/MOV video and name their MP4/MOV in a format MDBG/2025_FullName_School/ name.

12. The 1st place winner will perform in the closing ceremony of THE PREMIERE 2025: Timeless Memories.

13.  Participant's costumes must be proper (inappropriate clothes: no sleeveless and short pants (above knee)) 

14. Each group (1-2 people) is required to attend the opening ceremony and technical meeting or your walkout fee will not be refunded.

15. Each group must bring at least 3 supporters (not including coach)  

16. Each group must send one representative for the FREESTYLE DANCE BATTLE at the end of the competition. 

17. The usage of Props is allowed but must be approved beforehand. 

18. Participants are required to abide by The Premiere 2025 General Rules and Regulations without exception.

Failure to comply with the rules and regulations will result in withdrawal of the walkout fee.
