Competition Details

1. Format: Double elimination

  • All matches are Best of 1 (BO1)

  • Finals & 3rd place: Best of 3 (BO3)

2. Teams: Only 16 teams can register; 12 will qualify for the offline finals.

In-game rules: 

  1. Fighting or physical violence of any type against others.

  2. Threatening, bullying, or abusive behavior directed at other fans, players, officials, or staff members.

  3. Racial, religion, nationality, politic, sexual, xenophobic, sexist, obscene, abusive, and/or homophobic language (including on signs or visible representations), chants, or gestures or conduct.

  4. Conduct that results in damage to PENABUR SECONDARY KELAPA GADING’S venue or other personal property.

  5. Displaying signs, symbols, images, using language or making gestures that are threatening, abusive, or discriminatory, including on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, ability, and/or sexual orientation.

  6. Displaying signs, symbols or images for commercial purposes or for electioneering, campaigning or advocating for or against any candidate, political party, legislative issue, or government action.

  7. Making unauthorized transmissions or play-by-play accounts of the match.

  8. Smoking in the property of PENABUR SECONDARY KELAPA GADING.

  9. Failing to follow requests from venue staff regarding operations, policies and emergency response procedures

  10. Any behavior that otherwise targets other fans or interferes with other fans’ enjoyment of the game

  11. Minimum 5 players per team, 7 maximum. Coach is optional.

  12. Participants must come from the same school and must have active status student at the enrolled school.

  13. The match schedule will be entirely determined by the committee. 

  14. It is possible for a team to swap players within the registered player’s list during the competition period with the agreement of the committee , however it is strictly prohibited during the game is going on unless in case of emergency. 

  15. Players must use their name tags during the competition. 

  16. The decisions and interferences by the committe may not be sued. 

  17. All players must use their school uniforms. 

  18. All players must have appropriate names to a limit that it doesnt affect the other players. ​

  19. From day 3, all games will be conducted in BO3, where heroes used by a team in the first game cannot be used again by the same team for the second game of the series. Third game will be resetted and will have no restrictions.

In case where one of these rules is violated, the team will receive a warning: 

  • Maximum 5 minutes for pausing per team 

  • Maximum 5-7 minute time limit for tardiness (based on situation) 

  • In case of purposely in-game griefing / trolling purposely in the game that affects the enjoyment of the game itself for the viewers.

  • No use of third-party software or cheats that provide an unfair advantage.

  • Swapping phones between players is strictly prohibited, and will receive 1 warning in case of swapping. 

  • Peaking at the main stream screen.

  • Involving a player that does not belong to the screen/school. 

  • Requesting a re-draft, 10 seconds after a pick has been resolved.  

 

Consequences of rules violation: 

  1. At first warning, there will be verbal issues regarding the reminder of rules and regulations to the team member and the coach.

  2. At second warning, the team will be issued another warning as (1), and will be fined Rp 150,000 or else they are directly disqualified.

  3. At the third warning, the team will be issued another warning and will be fined Rp 300,000 or else they are directly disqualified. 

​

In case of fourth warning occurs, the warning (3) will occur again.

 

Should a team has disqualified due to violation of rules, the opposing team will directly win the match and will advance to the next stage of the competition.

 

The walkout fee for the competition will be 200,000 Rp per

school, whether or not they were disqualified due to violation of rules or due to personal reasons.

Junior High (SMP): Grade 7 - 9 (Born between 2009 - 2013)

Senior High (SMA): Grade 10 - 12 (Born between 2006 - 2010)

 Rp 200.000/team (Including walkout fee of Rp 50.000/participant which will be returned when the competition ends)

3rd Place: Rp 1.200.000 + Trophy + Certificate
