Competition Details

1. It'll be a 1 round competition. Each band must perform two songs. The first song is "Sweet Child O' Mine" by Guns N' Roses. This song must be performed by every band. The second song is chosen by the participants with the theme “Timeless” (a song that is nostalgic, from the 80s to early 2000s).

2. The arrangement of the songs must incorporate the creativity of the band (not a direct copy of the original version).

3. Music should be appropriate and clean with no profanity/vulgar lyrics. If this action is done, the performance will immediately be stopped. Hence, the band will be disqualified.

4. Participants are requested to wear appropriate attributes according to the song theme.

5. Participants can only perform in one band representing their schools.

6. The use of minus one is prohibited. Musical instruments such as keyboards, guitars, bass, and drums will be provided by the committee. A Google Form link will be provided for participants who want to borrow the musical instruments.

7. Participants are allowed to bring their own instruments and props. Participants who bring additional instruments are required to prepare the equipment independently.

8. The free song choice must be an existing song (cover). Any genre of song is allowed.

9. The maximum duration of each group’s performance is 15 minutes.

10. Beforehand, there will be a soundcheck session with a duration of 10 minutes. Participants must not exceed the given duration.

11. All participants can only perform in one band.
